Co-authored Research by Advanta Genetics CEO & CDO on Enhancing Entrepreneurship Education
The CEO and CDO of Advanta Genetics recently co-authored research that addresses the ongoing concern that entrepreneurship education is not preparing students sufficiently well for jobs in the 21st-century. In this article, recently published in the journal Entrepreneurship Education and Pedagogy, they argue that many criticisms leveled against entrepreneurship education for not effectively addressing the entrepreneurial skills gap are due in part to entrepreneurship education's emphasis on the roles of specific stakeholder groups separately (i.e., universities and their leaders, instructors, students, potential employers) rather than a shared focus on developing valuable graduates collectively.
This research illustrates that the leaders at Advanta Genetics are not only committed to the science of laboratory medicine, but also to the science of educating our young people to be successfully prepared for challenges encountered in the 21st-century workforce.
